News & Updates 📰

Season's greetings! Can you believe that this is 2023's last issue of The Buzz? What a year it's been! From all of us at The Hive, we hope you have a wonderful holiday, and a fantastic new year! Here's everything you may have missed since our last issue:

Winterfest 2023❄️

I hope you've brought your gloves - it's time for Winterfest! Snow has fallen in our new hub for the very first time, and you know what that means - it's time to build some snowmen!

Collect snow from snow piles around the hub to build some festive friends! Players that manage to build 10 snowmen will receive a special frosty costume!

Don't forget to look under the big Winterfest tree each day for some special gifts! Each gift can only be claimed for 24 hours, and once gone, will never be available again.

Endolotl Plush 💜

Ever since our last collaboration with Makeship, where we created an awesome Cubee plushie, players have been asking us to do another. As the Endolotl is by far our community's favorite in-game pet, the choice was obvious!

Here's an exclusive look at the original concept art that was created by our very own art team!

Players who purchase the Endolotl plushie will also receive the exclusive Ender Wings Backbling, as well as a special avatar and hub title. You'll be able to unlock these items through a code that will sent to you after the campaign is over. Here's an exclusive look at the Ender Wings!

If you haven't gotten your hands on your very own Endolotl plushie just yet, don't worry - there's still time! Once the campaign is over, the Endolotl plushie, along with the exclusive in-game unlocks, will never be available again, so make sure to grab yours while you still can!

Universal Event 🌍

As part of Minecraft's Universal New Year’s Celebration, we teamed up with Mojang and Universal to create a special in-game event, inspired by Universal Studios Hollywood’s signature attraction, the world-famous Studio Tour!

If you've not yet had a chance to check out this limited-time event, make sure to join now - it will be leaving soon!

More CTF Maps 🚩

In October, we released three brand new Capture the Flag maps, and as promised, three additional maps were released soon after.

Prismaris, Lunala and Mall have all joined Capture the Flag's growing map roster, which is your favorite?

A Capture the Flag content update is planned for sometime in the new year, be sure to leave your suggestions for features you'd like to see on our forums!

Competition Time: Snowman Build Contest ⛄

It's time to snow-off your building skills! In celebration of Winterfest, we want to see who can build the best snowmen!

Entering this contest is simple, just follow the steps below:

• Join The Hive and create a Just Build custom server (you can create a custom server by typing /cs in chat)
• Enable the special Winterfest Contest preset by selecting the snowball in your hot bar
• Build an epic snowman and take a screenshot
• Submit your entry by clicking here

All valid entrants will receive a special hub title, and 10 winners will receive an exclusive hub title, along with some other festive prizes!

Community Spotlight 🏅

In this segment, we'll be highlighting some of our favorite community creations, shared by you, our amazing players!

Everybody that has their art or video featured on our blog will receive an exclusive hub title!
