News & Updates đź“°
The jack-o'-lanterns are out and the nights are drawing in... We hope you've been having a spooktacular spooky season! From BedWars Season 5 riding into town to Hive-o-ween haunts, here’s a look at everything you might have missed since our last issue.
Hive-o-ween Haunts đź‘»
The ghosts are back, and this time they’re not going quietly!
Strange readings are appearing across the hub once again, so be sure to keep your Ghost Detector to hand. Feeling brave? Follow the eerie signals to find the spirits behind them, and you might just uncover a hidden reward.
We reinforced the vault. We double-checked the locks, but the Reaper still managed to find a way through... He’s stalking Murder Mystery again, cold air and silence in his wake. Collect enough souls to drive him off and claim your reward!
Ghost Invasion and MobGame are both back by popular demand, each with spooktacular new cosmetics to unlock, and every Hive-o-ween map is haunting the map rosters once more. Spooky themes have crept back into Build Battle, too.
These Hive-o-ween haunts won't last forever, though, so be sure to make the most of it while you still can!
Yeehaw đź¤
September saw BedWars pack up and head west! Season 5 rode into town with a rowdy arsenal of new items, three untamed new maps, rip-roaring new challenges, and a lawless new way to play, with bounties making their debut.
Not staked your claim yet? There’s no time like the present!
Rope your rivals in place with the Lasso, blow the competition sky-high with Dynamite, launch yourself clean across the map with the Rocket Boots, and lay track straight over the void with the Minecart.
Season 5 Ticket 🎟️
Every good outlaw needs the right outfit! The BedWars: Season 5 Ticket is available now, for a limited time.
This season’s ticket comes loaded with the exclusive Cowboy armor set, two exclusive mounts, and a pile of Wild West cosmetics for your spawn island, plus exclusive challenges packed with bonus rewards to work your way through.
As always, this ticket is only in town for Season 5, so be sure to claim yours before it rides off into the sunset!
Chroma Crown 🔥
Mark your calendars! The next Hot Drop will take place on Saturday, October 31st, and feature the Chroma Crown!
The Chroma Crown will be the final cosmetic in the crown collection, and it's going out in style with a trail of color-changing rainbow particles!
The Hive community is worldwide, so to give players in every time zone the chance to obtain the Chroma Crown, there will be three Hot Drops at different times. In each one, a third of the total stock will be available.
As always with Hot Drops, numbers are strictly limited, with only 1,500 total crowns up for grabs. Once the stock is gone, the Chroma Crown is gone for good!
Eight Years of The Hive 🎂
That’s right: The Hive has been welcoming Minecraft: Bedrock Edition players from all over the world for eight whole years!

Almost 30,000 of you have claimed your veteran title already, but if you missed out this time, don’t worry! The quest will be back again for our next beeday.
Whether you’re an eight-year Hive veteran or a new-bee, thank you for being part of The Hive!

The team has been hard at work on SkyBlock Horizons, and we’re pulling back the curtain to give you an exclusive look at the world you’ll soon be exploring!
Say hello to Midhaven, the central hub of the Haven region. It’s a key part of the world of Horizon, and somewhere you’ll come to know very well.
This bustling town is packed with traders, merchants and characters, each with a role to play in your journey.
Midhaven is also the gateway to your very own SkyBlock island, and where your adventure begins!
